Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shivam Dube Join Team India In Zimbabwe Ahead Of 3rd T20I In Harare

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube joined Team India in Zimbabwe, where the Men in Blue are in action for a five-match T20I series.

While Sanju Samson was seen in the dugout during the second T20I between India and Zimbabwe, whether Jaiswal and Dube would be available for the third T20I, to be played on Wednesday, was unknown. However, RevSportz confirmed their arrival in Zimbabwe on Monday.

Jaiswal, Dube, Samson Bring 'Good' Headaches For India

Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see how they could manage a place in the playing XI after a thumping win over Zimbabwe. The likes of Abhishek Sharma, Ruturaj Gaikwad performed admirably, while skipper Gill is yet to break the shackles. 

Even Rinku Singh was at his very best in the second T20I, making the top-order and middle-order look solid. 

Needless to say, Dube was the one for whom Rinku had to remain in the reserves in the T20 World Cup 2024. Hence, they are like-for-like players in the unit, and to make matters worse, Dhruv Jurel's position is also in danger, as Sanju Samson has come back in the mix.

Now only time will tell how the Men in Blue will look to form up against the Sikandar Raza-led side when they are back in action on Wednesday.
