Shaheen Afridi To Drop Mirza Tahir Baig; Lahore Qalanadars' Probable XI vs Quetta Gladiators

This evening, Lahore Qalandars will cross swords against Quetta Gladiators in match 28 of the ongoing Pakistan Super League season. 

It has been a horrible season for Shaheen Afridi-led Qalandars, as they have managed a solitary victory in nine league-stage appearances. Although they are out of the knockout race, the Qalandars must be desperate to secure a win and finish the tournament on a high note. 

In their last match against Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars replaced Rassie van der Dussen and Sahibzada Farhan with Abdullah Shafique and Mirza Tahir Baig, respectively. While Shafique struck a flamboyant fifty, Baig recorded a failure, being dismissed for four in the third over. 

So, moving on to this game, the Qalandars might be tempted to bring Farhan back, excluding Baig from their playing XI.

However, the rest of their lineup is expected to be the same, with in-form Fakhar Zaman, Shafique and Shai Hope forming their batting core. 

Sikandar Raza and David Wiese will likely retain their place as all-rounders, while Zaman Khan, Ahsan Bhatti, Jahandad Khan and Tayyab Abbas will spearhead the bowling department alongside skipper Afridi.
