Royal Challengers Bangalore will have an uphill task at their hands on Sunday, as they will take on Delhi Capitals in a high-voltage WPL 2024 clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Led by Smriti Mandhana, RCB Women have had a topsy-turvy WPL season, occupying the third position with three victories in six matches.

They kickstarted their campaign with emphatic wins over UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants, but three crushing defeats in the next four outings significantly derailed their journey.

So, moving on to Sunday's clash, the Royal Challengers will be desperate for a win to stay alive in the playoffs race, intensified with four teams competing for three available slots.

How can RCB qualify for WPL 2024 final?

RCB haven't had an exceptional WPL campaign so far, losing three of their six league-stage matches. However, they can still top the points table and qualify for the all-important final if some things go their way, as mentioned below.

Firstly, RCB must ensure they win their remaining two matches against Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians besides needing Gujarat Giants to beat the same opponents.

However, considering the red hot form of MI and DC, chances of RCB making a direct entry to the WPL final looks bleak at the moment.
