1) Shaheen Afridi

Shaheen Afridi’s biggest contribution in the Asia Cup 2025 has come with the bat, and that too, on two different occasions. Against India, Pakistan were struggling to reach the 100-run mark before Shaheen played a gem of an innings and slammed a quick-fire 16-ball 33 to propel his team to a decent 127.

Similarly, in the do-or-die game against the UAE, Pakistan were once again in trouble before he came to the rescue. He slammed 29 off 14 balls and steered Pakistan to a competitive 146/9, which was enough to seal the win and a safe passage through to the Super 4.

2) Fakhar Zaman

Pakistan’s batting has been shambolic in the Asia Cup 2025, but Fakhar Zaman has been a lone shining light. Against India, when others struggled, he counter-attacked a bit, but couldn’t do much. However, against the UAE, he scored a crucial fifty and solidified the sinking innings.
