He blasted his runs at an average of 59.60 and strike-rate of 175.29, and these all-round skills would be crucial for Pakistan in Champions Trophy 2025. The Men in Green need a player who can use the long handle to good effect in flat batting conditions and his ability to pick crucial wickets in middle overs will provide Pakistan with balance and more options.
Khushdil Shah also has good List A record where he has scored 3289 runs which includes eight hundreds and has 85 wickets as well. All these factors makes him an x-factor and a potential match-winner for Pakistan.
2. Taskin Ahmed
The right-arm pacer was the leading wicket-taker in BPL 2024-25. He was spot on with his lines and lengths and notched up impressive speeds in a format that is known to assist batters. He picked 25 wickets in just 12 innings, at an economy rate of 6.50 and a stunning strike-rate of 11 for Durbar Rajshahi. It shows that the bowler is in great rhythm and if he continues to deliver in the same vain during Champions Trophy, he could win Bangladesh many games.
