The Bangladesh Premier League 2024-25 turned out to be quite a thrilling contest with plenty of twists and turns and in the end, Fortune Barishal have successfully defended their title. They won the final against Chittagong Kings by three wickets in a last-over thriller and the tournament produced some quality cricket where different stars from all over the globe showed their talent.
Many of these stars will play for their respective countries in Champions Trophy 2025, and here are the three cricketers who can shine in the ICC tournament starting from 19th of February.
3. Khushdil Shah
Khushdil Shah was a stand-out performer in Bangladesh Premier League 2024-25, and it helped him get selected for Pakistan in Champions Trophy squad. Shah played for Rangpur Riders in the tournament, and in 9 innings, he picked 17 wickets which played a big role in his team's success. Along with his crafty left-arm tweakers, the batters also delivered great finishing touches, smashing 298 runs in eight innings.

2. Taskin Ahmed
The right-arm pacer was the leading wicket-taker in BPL 2024-25. He was spot on with his lines and lengths and notched up impressive speeds in a format that is known to assist batters. He picked 25 wickets in just 12 innings, at an economy rate of 6.50 and a stunning strike-rate of 11 for Durbar Rajshahi. It shows that the bowler is in great rhythm and if he continues to deliver in the same vain during Champions Trophy, he could win Bangladesh many games.

Over the years, Taskin has been one of the go-to bowler for Bangladesh and his ability to find breakthroughs in powerplay is vital for Tigers. He has 109 wickets in 77 ODI matches for Bangladesh and it includes five four-wickets hauls and two fifers. He has played only two ODIs in Pakistan, but in one of those game, he picked up a four-fer. Thus, the pacer has good past record to back-up his current form and can be a match-winner in Champions Trophy 2025.
1. Mehidy Hasan Miraz
Mehidy Hasan Miraz has emerged as Bangladesh's leading all-rounder in recent times because of the consistency he has shown with bat and ball. He displayed that again in BPL 2024-25 where he picked 13 wickets and scored 355 runs in 14 innings. He hit two fifties and scored his runs at a strike-rate of 132.95 and we can expect him to carry this form in Champions Trophy 2025.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz has played two ODI matches in Pakistan and has a century in one of it.
