We are approaching the business end of things in the Lanka Premier League 2024 and for the final fixture of the league stages, Dambulla Sixers will be up against Colombo Strikers at R.Premadasa Stadium on July 16 from 7.30 PM IST onwards.

Meanwhile, the Colombo Strikers successfully made it to the playoffs with a comprehensive victory against Galle Marvels in the previous fixture. Matheesha Pathirana and Shahdab Khan’s 6 wickets combined restricted Marvels to 138 runs.

In the chase, Muhammad Waseem and Glenn Phillips piled up a 50-run partnership to successfully chase down the total with 10 balls to spare.

Overall, the Strikers dominated the game and maturely handled the chase without any risks or haste. However, the job isn’t done for Strikers as they can still end up in top 2 by winning the final game and play Qualifier 1 instead of eliminator.
