Rajasthan Royals (RR) take on the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the two teams' opening game of the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Sunday (March 24). The inaugural season champions host the league's rising young force at their den - the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
The Sanju Samson-led side will be locking horns with KL Rahul & company in what promises to be a riveting afternoon game where the two teams strive to attain a strong early footing in the IPL 2024 and fetch not just two crucial points but also momentum heading deeper into their respective campaigns.
Despite not being recognised among the league's prominent and most popular franchises, both RR and LSG boast multiple T20 stars in either department.
