India

India have named a balanced squad as they have the senior members alongside young guns headlining the playing XI. Bengal seamer Akash Deep has been given a chance after an impressive domestic performance, while the likes of Shreyas Iyer failed to get a spot in the 16-member list. 

Chennai is known to be a rank turner and is also the home ground for Ravichandran Ashwin. Thus, eyes would be on the off-spinner to produce magic for India. He is likely to be assisted by Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav in the spin department.

The surface at the Chepauk Stadium is known to be slower in nature, making it difficult for the bowlers to instil fear in the batters.
