On Sunday, April 27, Lucknow Super Giants locked horns against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. It was a dominating show from the five-time winners as Hardik Pandya-led side handed LSG a 54-runs win.

It is worth noting that it was MI's 5th straight win of the tournament and have moved 2nd on the table with the thumping win. However, things are not looking good for Lucknow Super Giants as they have suffered their 2nd straight defeat. 

Talking about the Rishabh Pant-led side, they are placed 6th on the table with 10 points in 10 matches. Meanwhile, this article will look at the qualification scenario for Lucknow Super Giants as they have just four matches left in the tournament. 

How Can LSG Qualify For IPL 2025 Play-Offs?

Talking about qualification for the play-offs, then 16 is the safe number for any side, who look to qualify for the next round. Thus, for LSG to qualify, they need to win at least three matches. Winnings all of the remaining matches would be the goal and it would surely ensure their qualification for the playoffs.

However, if LSG manage to win just two of their remaining four matches, then they will end the tournament with 14 points. Things won't end for them but they need to rely on qualification chances of other teams. The Super Giants will next play against Punjab Kings on May 4.
