On November 8, Australia will take on Pakistan for the 2nd ODI at the Adelaide Oval. The hosts are leading the series 1-0 as they registered a two-wicket win in the opening match. It is a crucial match for both teams as Australia would look to seal the series in the upcoming game.

It is worth noting that Australia have already named major changes for the third ODI as they have rested their regular skipper Pat Cummins along with Steve Smith, Josh Hazlewood, Marnus Labuschagne and Mitchell Starc. However, all the veterans would be featured in the playing XI in the 2nd ODI to clinch the series. 

Further, Josh Inglis has been named as an interim captain for the T20I series and will also lead the side for the 3rd ODI in the absence of Pat Cummins.

Australia's Likely Changes For 2nd ODI

Talking about the first match, Mitchell Starc was the pick of the bowlers as he took three wickets. Meanwhile, skipper Pat Cummins too picked two scalps. 

Meanwhile, Josh Hazlewood is expected to make a comeback and is likely to replace Sean Abbott, who took a solitary wicket in the first ODI.

In the batting, Jake Fraser-McGurg is under the scanner as he is yet to replicate his IPL success with the international team. However, the Men in Yellow believes in giving a longer rope to their players, which is why the fans can see McGurg opening the innings with Matthew Short.
