All eyes are on Australia and Pakistan as they meet each other once again for the second ODI at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide on Friday, 8th November from 9 AM IST. Australia had the perfect start to the three-match ODI, as in a nail biting encounter the Pat Cummins led side won the game by 2 wickets. 

Pat Cummins Saves The Day For The Aussies

Chasing a total of 204, Australia's chase got off to a shaky start as the openers departed early in the form of Matthew Short (1) and Jake Fraser-McGurk (16). It was then left to Steve Smith to repair the damage with a valid 44 as he put on 85 runs for the third wicket, with Josh Inglis scoring 49. 

A mini-collapse resulted, and Australia slumped to 139/6 by the 21st over. Cummins and Sean Abbott batted terrifically straight and steady, keeping the scoreboard ticking. When Abbott ran himself out, Cummins remained not out on 32 to take Australia home in the 34th over. Haris Rauf was Pakistan's best bowler with 3/67 and Shaheen Afridi who bagged 2/43. 

Earlier, bowlers Mitchell Starc (3/33) and Co had restricted Pakistan to 203, but thanks to some resistance from Babar Azam (37), who played a fine knock along with Rizwan and brilliant cameos by Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
