Afghanistan sprung a surprise as they came back from the jaws of defeat and thrashed Bangladesh to take a 1-0 lead in the ODI series. From 120/3 to 143 all-out, the Tigers simply crumbled against a hostile Afghan attack.

The night was memorable for Afghanistan's newest sensation, Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar, who scalped 6 wickets in the match and bamboozled Bangladesh with his brilliant craft. The Tigers were expected to clinch the first ODI, but now they have to bounce back from 0-1 down, and for that, captain Najmul Hossain Shanto needs to make bold decisions.

The skipper has plethora of quality options in bowling, but the batters simply aren't good and they were exposed against a brilliant Mohammad Ghazanfar. For the visitors to clinch a win, they need to make two key changes.

Mushfiqur out, Jaker Ali in as Bangladesh eye series-levelling win

Mushfiqur Rahim is injured at the moment and there is a likelihood that he won't recover before the second ODI commences. Bangladesh wouldn't want to take risk of playing him in the next match, and hence, Jaker Ali can come in his place.

The talented batter has shown a lot of promise, but he is yet to fully fulfill his potential. Hence, the second ODI will give him a perfect chance to showcase his skills.

Also, Tanzid Hasan, the Bangladesh opener had a poor outing in the first match and was dismissed for just 3. He has been out of form for quite some time and this provides a window for Najmul Hossain Shanto to bring in Zakir Hasan. Another promising player, Hasan can be a wily customer at the top.

Recently he has not had the best of outings, but just like Jaker Ali, he will have the golden chance to stamping his authority.
