3) Glenn Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell had a disappointing IPL 2024 season for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and after a horror season, the franchise decided to part ways with the Australian superstar. However, Punjab Kings came calling and the all-rounder was snapped by them in the IPL mega auction.

Playing for Melbourne Stars in the BBL, Maxwell had a brilliant showing as courtesy of his performance, the Stars managed to win 5 must-win clashes in a row and reached the knockout stages of the tournament. In 9 matches, he slammed 325 runs, at a strike-rate of 186.78 with 3 fifties to his name.

1) Tim David

The newest signing for RCB, Tim David was considered a flop signing as the batter looked out of touch ahead of the BBL season.

However, he turned the tables and was one of the main reasons why Hobart Hurricanes reached the finals of the tournament. There were 3 matches which he won single-handedly for his side and after the group stage, David currently has 254 runs in 9 matches, at a strike-rate of 177.
