Australian seamer, Megan Schutt delivered the ball of the Ashes series as her brilliantly disguised ball castled Sophia Dunkley's stumps in the 2nd T20I between Australia and England Women. Dunkley played a blinder and was looking to take the game away from the hosts when Schutt kept her composure and bowled a sizzling delivery to knock her up.

England needed 186 runs to win and there task was made easier by Danielle Wyatt and Maia Bouchier as the openers added 46 runs for the opening wicket. Once the opening duo departed, the required rate climbed up as Nat Sciver Brunt struggled to score quick runs. The pressure was on Dunkley to play aggressive shots, which she did.

The middle-order batter looked in fine touch and struck at 145.45 before Megan Schutt decided to weave her magic. The right-arm pacer bowled a length ball on the stumps and it was a scrambled seam delivery as Dunkley hanged back and failed to get a bat on it as the ball shattered the stumps.

The ball wasn't overdone but Schutt's magical skill made it special and it could be termed as the ball of the Ashes.

Australia defeat England in 2nd T20I

Australia Women held their nerves to defeat England in the second T20I of the series. Interestingly, England is yet to taste success on this tour as they lost the ODIs and the first T20I as well.

With a 6-run win (DLS method) in the second game, Australia Women have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series, with a match still left to be played. The England batters slowed down in the middle-overs and this led to their demise in the 2nd T20I.
