Bangladesh Seamer, Mohammad Saifuddin grabbed a stunner on the edge of the boundary ropes as Khushdil Shah, the Pakistan all-rounder broke the backbone of the Durbar Rajshahi batting. The all-rounder showcased his brilliance with the ball but he was also helped on the field by the Bangladesh fielder who took a stunning catch.
The spin-bowling all-rounder finished with figures of 3 for 31 in 4 overs, but the wicket of Sabbir Hossain was the best of the lot as it was a total teamwork and the fielding efforts need to be rewarded. The incident occurred in the 8th over when Khushdil Shah bowled a tossed up ball and Hossain went for a slog sweep. Saifuddin was stationed at the boundary ropes near the deep square region as the ball came up to him at a rapid speed.
The fielder had little to no time to react as he timed his jump to perfection and got hold off the ball. However, he was going over the ropes as he decided to flip the ball in the air and came back inside to grab a smart catch.
Rajshahi post 170 in their 20 overs
Durbar Rajshahi posted a healthy 170 in their allotted 20 overs. Sabbir Hossain and Anamul Haque scored quick-fire 30s, but the team needed a major push to post a commanding total.
This was provided by Yasir Ali, who scored a brilliant 60 off 32 balls and single-handedly rescued their sinking ship. Khushdil Shah and Akif Javed were the pick of the bowlers as the duo scalped 3 wickets each to somehow derail Rajshahi's momentum.
