Tim David, the Hobart Hurricanes star is finally back amongst the run-getters in the Big Bash League and he did it in some style as the stylish batter played one of the best innings of the tournament to bring up a 22-ball fifty Vs Adelaide Strikers.

The Hurricanes batter played a blinder and was at his imperial best as the dangerous batter took just 22-balls to reach the landmark, and he did it with a monstrous six against Lloyd Pope. The batter came in at number 6 when the target seemed at a far distance, however, he made a mockery of the total and helped the Hurricanes win the match.

Tim David started slowly, but in the space of seven balls he slammed 4 sixes as the Adelaide team faced the heat.

When he was on 46 off 21, Pope bowled a shorter delivery as David rocked back and hammered it well over the deep square leg region as the ball went into the stands and he completed his 22-ball fifty.

David stayed unbeaten at 62 off 28 deliveries, laced with 3 fours and 6 sixes. His inninigs ensured that the Hurricanes reached the target with 5 wickets in hand.

Tim David to showcase his skills in IPL

After the BBL, Tim David will also showcase his skills in the upcoming IPL 2025. He was bought by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the mega auction and the dangerous batter will play in the middle-order as the RCB side look for their maiden IPL title.

His exploits in the middle order will be vital for the team's chances to win the title in 2025. Davi can be the difference maker for RCB in the upcoming season with his explosive batting.
