Babar Azam To Drop Haseebullah? Peshawar Zalmi's Probable Playing XI vs Karachi Kings

On Monday, Peshawar Zalmi will take on Karachi Kings in match 29 of the ongoing Pakistan Super League season at the National Bank Arena in Karachi. While Peshawar Zalmi have already qualified for the playoffs, it's a must-win game for Karachi to stay alive in the competition.

Talking about the Zalmi, the Babar Azam-led outfit has had a fabulous campaign, winning five of their nine group-stage matches. More importantly, they have exhibited a sublime form of late, emerging victorious on five of the previous seven occasions.

While Saim Ayub and Babar Azam have come out with all guns blazing, the form of their middle order continues to be a headache for Peshawar Zalmi.

Despite being given enough chances, the likes of Mohammad Haris, Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Haseebullah have been inconsistent with the bat.

While Haris and Kohler-Cadmore struck breezy cameos, Haseebullah was dismissed cheaply in Zalmi's previous game against Quetta Gladiators

However, as they have won two consecutive games, Zalmi will likely keep an unchanged XI for this match. So, Babar and Saim will open the batting, with Haris, Haseebullah, Kohler-Cadmore and Rovman Powell forming the middle order.

Pace bowling all-rounder Aamer Jamal will be slotted at number seven, followed by Mehran Mumtaz, Luke Wood, Naveen-ul-Haq and Khurram Shahzad.
