Ayush Badoni’s journey to stardom began with his selection in the India Under-19 team, a platform that has produced some of India’s cricketing legends.

In the 2018 Under-19 Asia Cup, Ayush made a significant impact, particularly in the final against Sri Lanka. His blistering knock of 52 off just 28 balls, which included a remarkable sequence of four sixes in four balls, helped India clinch the title with a commanding 144-run victory.

This innings stamped Ayush’s authority as an aggressive and fearless batsman, capable of turning the game on its head.

In addition to his batting brilliance, Ayush showcased his all-round abilities during his Under-19 debut series against Sri Lanka in Colombo, where he took six wickets (4-24 and 2-57) and scored an unbeaten 185* in a four-day match.

At just 19, he became Delhi’s highest run-getter in the Under-23 One-Day competition for the 2019-20 season, amassing 389 runs at an impressive average of 55.57 and a strike rate of 83.11. His ability to contribute with the ball was also evident, as he picked up eight wickets at an economy rate of under five, making him a valuable asset for Delhi.

His journey began in the domestic circuit with standout performances in tournaments like the Cooch Behar Trophy (2016), Vinoo Mankad Trophy (2017), and the Col CK Nayudu Trophy (2018-19).

Ayush made an immediate impact, scoring a memorable 54 runs in his debut match for LSG on March 28, 2022.

Over the next three seasons, Ayush solidified his place in the team, playing 13, 15, and 14 matches in 2022, 2023, and 2024, respectively. His performances were consistent, with him scoring 161, 238, and 235 runs in those seasons.
