Pakistan's early exit from the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has again brought up some significant issues concerning the team and its management. The host nation became the first team to be eliminated from the tournament after horrific outings against New Zealand and India.

Receiving criticisms from every nook and corner, the Men in Green have received everything but the proper support. Legendary players from the country have all participated in panels and discussions to talk about what went wrong for the national team, but no one has come forward to lead the way and help them the right way.

Speaking on the same lines, former cricketer and father of Indian star Yuvraj Singh, Yograj Singh, did not mince his words. He expressed his dissatisfaction, particularly with Wasim Akram, who is minting money while commentating instead of going to Pakistan and organising a camp for the Pakistan cricket team.

Yograj Singh Offers His Guidance To Coach PAK Team

He further stated that he'd love to see which one of the former players would be willing to help Pakistan win the World Cup and resign if they fail to do so. The veteran cricketer said he'd be willing to go to Pakistan and build a team that will be remembered for ages. As quoted by News18, Yograj Singh said:

“Wasim is earning money doing commentary. Go back to your country, organise a camp of these players. I want to see which one of you can help Pakistan win the World Cup and if not then resign. Mein jata hoon, ek saal mein team khadi kar kay dikhaunga tum yaad rakhoge (I can coach them. I will build this team in one year and you’ll will remember it). It’s all about passion. I am spending 12 hours here (at his own academy). You will have to give your blood and sweat for your own country."

Babar Azam Abd Mohd. Rizwan Land in Trouble

Among many players, it is Babar Azam and Mohd. Rizwan who are at the receiving end of most criticism. The two star players failed to show up for their teams accurately and that played a big part in their team's early exit from the tournament.

In the first match against the Kiwis, Babar did score a half-century however it came at a slower pace than needed. Similarly in the second match against their arch-rivals India, captain Rizwan tried his best however his innings of 46 runs off 77 balls.
