DC-W vs GG-W: Captain's Thoughts

Ashleigh Gardner (Gujarat Giants Captain): "It has been a nice week to reset. We played 3 games pretty quickly so for our group we have just been able to recharge our batteries and had good training too. We know Bengaluru is going to be a lot different to Baroda. A lot more bounce at this venue so being able to counter that and then coming up against Delhi as well knowing that they've got quite a lot of pace bowling within their stock. It's being able to adapt really quickly. Hopefully we can do that early in the powerplay.

Meg Lanning (Delhi Capitals Women Captain): "We're going to bowl tonight—it seems to be the trend. We feel it gives our bowlers a good chance to take early wickets and put Gujarat under pressure. (On Ashleigh Gardner) We've played quite a bit of cricket together, and that's the cool thing about this tournament—you come up against players you know very well. I'm looking forward to it.  Yeah, we've made one change—Titas comes in for Reddy, bringing a change to our bowling lineup."
