Anaya Bangar Shares Her Thoughts On Virat Kohli
Speaking to Filmygyan, Anaya recalled training sessions with Kohli, where she received valuable tips that continue to shape her approach to the game.
“Yes, I’ve met him multiple times and trained with him—alongside my dad as well. He’s given me a few tips, watched me bat, and I’ve had the chance to see him bat up close.
Among the most memorable moments, Anaya highlighted a conversation with Kohli about handling pressure on the biggest stage.
“I once asked him how he handles pressure at the highest level. He told me that he practices to a point where he fully understands his strengths and trusts them. He knows exactly what he can do on the field, and he simply believes in that,” she said. “Once you truly know yourself and your game, everything else falls into place.”
It is important to note that Anaya garnered attention last year for sharing her transition journey as a trans-woman. She has been vocal about her hormonal transformation and now proudly carries the name Anaya Bangar, symbolising her authentic identity.
On Wednesday, May 14, she also shared a video on social media showcasing her cricket skills. In the clip, Anaya was seen confidently playing on the front foot, displaying solid defensive techniques and graceful straight drives. She captioned the post, “Just letting you guys know that I have something huge coming up!”
