'Surprised' - Harbhajan Singh Posts Heartfelt Message After Yuzi Chahal's WC Snub
Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh lashes out his anger at not seeing Yuzvender Chahal in India's provisional squad for the World Cup. The spin wizard took to Twitter (now X) to express his views right after India's squad was announced earlier on Tuesday afternoon.
Harbhajan, who himself was part of two World Cup wins, thinks Chahal's exclusion from the squad is a 'surprising' one. Meanwhile, Chahal has faced disappointment before major tournaments, time and again. Recently, he was dropped from India's Asia Cup 2023 squad as well.
Chahal, who last featured in the 50-over format way back in January this year, started losing favours since Kuldeep Yadav's return to the international fold. However, apart from the Chinaman, the selection panel went with Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel.
Nevertheless, in the last 2019 Cricket World Cup, Chahal picked up 12 dismissals to his name in 8 matches that he played.
