David Warner heaped praise on Marnus Labuschagne

"Marnus is a quality player,"  Warner stated during the post-match press conference.

"He played extremely well — he's in a good place. The selectors have spoken to Marnus. I think quite clearly you can see that it's a like-for-like replacement with (Steve) Smith."

With Steve Smith currently dealing with an injury, Labuschagne's exceptional performances have positioned him as a strong contender to fill the void in the team. Warner emphasized that Labuschagne is seizing the opportunities given to him, further stating,

"He's putting his hand up, he's making the most of those opportunities, and you'll have to wait and see what selectors say."

Australia's aggressive approach in the first two matches against South Africa has indicated their intention for the upcoming World Cup. The team's fearless batting and dominant performances have set the stage for an exciting campaign.

Australia's total of 392 runs is their third-highest ODI total, underscoring the team's depth and ability to score big. With the series now standing at two-nil in Australia's favor, they have taken a commanding lead and are looking to continue their winning streak in the remaining matches.
