Rizwan Takes Charge From Babar
The multi-format series includes a three-match ODI series and then three T20Is. Along with him, Jason Gillespie, will be the head coach for the Aussie tour since Gary Kirsten resigned pre-maturely.
Pakistan Team Focused On A Goal
With major changes surrounding the Pakistan cricketing set-up, captain Rizwan, in a statement released by the Pakistan Cricket Board said that the team will be playing a good number of ODIs before the Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan and hence the upcoming challenges will help the team focus and put together a 'right combination'.

The forthcoming series beginning with Australia, then Zimbabwe, South Africa and the home tri-nation tournament will help us assemble a right combination going into the mega event," Rizwan said.
With the recent reset, Pakistan are aiming to find their right combination ahead of the tournament. Pakistan have handed debuts to Muhammad Irfan Khan and Saim Ayub for their series-opener as they revealed.
