India lost the first Test at Headingley in a shocking fashion, as the team lacked the cutting edge to defend the 371 runs on the board. For almost four days, the Indian team looked dominant but on the final day, an inspirational performance from Ben Duckett stole the show and took England to a famous win.

Ahead of the 2nd Test at Edgbaston, Birmingham, former Aussie batter and India head coach, Greg Chappell batted for the inclusion of X-factor, Kuldeep Yadav. The former India coach reckons that if India are to reverse their fortunes, they need a wicket-taker and Kuldeep is the answer as he is the "best wrist-spinner" since Shane Warne.

There is a reason why wickets often fall after a change of bowling. It forces the batter to recalibrate. That variability isn't available to Shubman Gill with his current crop. On the fifth day of the first Test, Jadeja exploited the rough spot created on the pitch, as the England batters, particularly Ben Stokes, looked uncomfortable. The only issue was that Jadeja wasn't consistent enough with his lines and lengths. Kuldeep, on the other hand is a master of exploiting the rough patches and has always troubled the English side.
