Jasprit Bumrah has established himself as one of the finest fast bowlers in modern cricket. Known for his lethal yorkers, precision, and ability to deliver under pressure, Bumrah is a key asset for the Indian cricket team. His unorthodox action and ability to generate pace and bounce from the surface make him a unique threat to batsmen worldwide.

Former Pakistani off-spinner Saeed Ajmal recently praised Bumrah for his sharp cricketing mind, noting that his intelligence plays a crucial role in his success.

At the GloFans High School Cricket Cup launch, Ajmal emphasised the importance of combining speed with intelligence for fast bowlers.

"Jasprit Bumrah is a very intelligent bowler, and intelligence is required with speed," Ajmal said.

Jasprit Bumrah’s ability to outthink batsmen, vary his pace, and execute perfect deliveries in critical moments has made him a standout performer on the international stage.

Ajmal Calls For Bilateral Series Between India And Pakistan

In addition to praising Bumrah, Ajmal advocated for renewed cricketing ties between India and Pakistan. The cricket rivalry between these two nations is renowned worldwide, drawing massive viewership whenever they face off.

Ajmal emphasised the significance of resuming cricketing tours between the two nations, humorously suggesting that even a match on the moon would be a monumental event.

“Even if the India versus Pakistan match happens on the moon, it will be huge. There is a lot of love between India and Pakistan and we must go to each other’s countries,” Ajmal said.

However, the last bilateral series between the teams was in 2006, with India last visiting Pakistan for the Asia Cup in 2008. Since then, interactions have been limited to multi-nation tournaments such as the ICC T20 World Cup in 2016 and the ICC ODI World Cup in 2023.
