The stage is all set for the biggest ICC event i.e., ODI World Cup 2023. India will be hosting the big event next month. With the hopes of 1.4 billion fans, Team India will kick off their World Cup campaign in Chennai against Australia.

The fans are waiting for the biggest encounter of the World Cup 2023, which is India vs Pakistan in Ahmedabad on the 14th of October. India have never lost a game against Pakistan in the 50-over World Cup and the fans will want it to stay that way only.

The former Pakistan fast-bowler Shoaib Akhtar, while in a discussion with India's Harbhajan Singh emphasised the amount of pressure the Indian team would be having on their shoulders.

Here's what Akhtar said about India being under pressure in the upcoming World Cup 2023:

The lethal fast-bowler believes Pakistan will not be having any kind of pressure as they are just a group of 15 members who will stick together and enjoy the game. On the other hand, he said that Indian media will create immense pressure on the Indian team which can affect their game.

While remembering his playing days, he also mentioned that the Indian crowd is the most peaceful crowd he has played in front of and he never got to face any nuisance or disturbance from fans in the stands.

He added that Pakistan is not under any pressure as they just need to go out there and perform. However, India will be playing in front of the home crowd which will be a huge responsibility on them to perform and win every game. India and Pakistan are currently playing in the Asia Cup and will be facing each other in the Super 4s on Sunday.
