Cricket in India is taking a huge leap with the T20 cricket. Uttar Pradesh T20 League is rising to popularity because of the players like Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kartik Tyagi. 

For players like Kartik, it is a great opportunity and he grabbed this one with both hands, as he became the first one to pick the first-ever hat-trick of the UP T20 League. His three wickets included Yash Dayal, Kartikeya Jaiswal and Vikrant Choudhary.

Kartik Tyagi is a young fast-bowler from Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. The right-arm fast bowler has speed, height, line and length. He rose to popularity while playing for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2021. 

His pace impressed everyone which eventually got him an IPL contract. He was called up in the Indian team to be with them as the net bowler and also went on tours to England and Australia. He was picked up by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the mega auctions of IPL 2022 for a whopping sum of four crores.

The 22-year-old is the upcoming star of Indian cricket as he is over 6 ft when it comes to height and has some fine pace. He is currently a part of Meerut Mavericks. While defending a total of 199 against Lucknow, Tyagi just took three deliveries to get through the tailenders of the Lucknow team. 

Lucknow was nowhere near the target till the 19th over and they were seven wickets down with needing 40+ in the final over. Kartik Tyagi speared three pacey yorkers and and got three bowled outs from it and became the first one to pick a hat-trick in the UP T20 League. He eventually ended his spell with four wickets in just 2.5 overs.
