Not just a perfect yorker, India's premier pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, also knows how to bowl over people's hearts with his hilarious antics and quick thinking.

The 30 year old's on-field sharp timing continued in the interviews, too. When asked who, according to him, is the greatest Indian captain, Bumrah's response sent everyone in splits. He responded, "Me. I captained some games, and I consider myself the greatest."

Bumrah, who has led in a Test match and a T20I series, gave this amusing response to tactfully avoid the controversy that often arises among Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli's fans.

As Virat Kohli once agreed to sign a petition to declare Bumrah as the world's eighth wonder, he is a class-apart bowler in the modern era.

He is the backbone of a team, nay a nation, that constantly relies on his top-class performances. He never disappoints; he always comes and delivers and what better example of this is the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024, where he repeatedly brought India back.

While Bumrah has been rested for the upcoming India Tour of Sri Lanka, he is likely to feature against Bangladesh in a Test series in September.
