Jasprit Bumrah's Blind Trust On Rohit Sharma: 'You Set The Field, I Don't Know'

Jasprit Bumrah was the player of the tournament in India's historic T20 World Cup win, and time and again displayed why he is the best bowler in the world. In the whole tournament, he picked wickets at crucial junctures for India, and in the final too, he changed the game with two brilliant overs at the death.

Jasprit Bumrah On His Growth As A Bowler

The speedster is known for his great cricketing sense and ability to mould his style of play according to the situation of the game. However, the star bowler has now revealed in an Express Adda, that  in the initial part of his career, he did not know much and used to ask Rohit Sharma to set the field and he would trust his captain blindly.

He then went onto add that he slowly realised that he cannot be dependent on other people and he should learn the art of setting the field and now he has evolved as a bowler and a cricketer.

"When I came into cricket, I didn't knew a lot - when I started playing IPL - I used to go & tell Rohit Sharma 'you set the field, I don't know. I am going to bowl this ball, you set the field & I trust you, whatever the field right you set the field' - then slowly I realised I can't be overly dependent on others then I started learning the craft". 

Jasprit Bumrah is currently on the rest, and is most likely to be back in the Indian colours for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh.
