'Hope To See Him...,' Ben Stokes On Virat Kohli's Absence From Test Series Against England

Ben Stokes will be playing his 100th Test match when he walks onto the field for the all-important third Test match between India and England. The series is levelled at 1-1 and Stokes would be looking to step up and deliver a big performance like big players tend to do in big games.

However, India are missing their star batter, Virat Kohli which is a good news from a cricketing point of view for England but it seems that Ben Stokes is missing the competitive boost that Virat Kohli brings to the table as an opponent.

In the press conference ahead of the 3rd Test match at Rajkot, Ben Stokes mentioned that it is always good to play against the best players in big series and added that he is hoping that they see him o the field soon.

"Virat Kohli not being here, you want the best players playing and Virat it one of them. Hope to see him on the field soon."

Virat Kohli is set to miss the whole Test series due to an unknown personal reasons and India did miss him badly in the first Test, when their batting crumbled under pressure at Hyderabad. India though made a strong comeback in the second Test and are likely to field two debutants, Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel at Rajkot against an England team that would be itching to deliver a strong performance.
