'Hey Virat,' Ashwin Reveals of Texting RCB Legend Ahead Of IPL Eliminator

Ravichandran Ashwin rolled back the years against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) with his fantastic big-match spell of 2/19 in his quota of four overs in the all-important Eliminator of IPL 2024, putting Rajasthan Royals (RR) ahead at the halfway stage, restricting RCB at 172.

In the mid-game interview, Ravi Ashwin also disclosed texting the ex-Indian skipper ahead of the big occasion, challenging him to battle it out yet again.

"I messaged Virat Kohli before the game that 'Hey Virat, let's battle it out once again at the big stage," said the off-spinner.
