Contrary to their counterparts, the Royals saw their IPL 2024 campaign turning upside down following their surreal dominance in the first half. 

Considering they were once ranked number one in the points table with eight wins in nine outings, it's shambolic that they will feature in the eliminator instead of making it into the qualifier.

Barring Jos Buttler's absence, the things that have gone wrong for RR is the inconsistency of two key players- Yashasvi Jaiswal and Yuzvendra Chahal. With fitness concerns looming over Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer, the Royals look absolutely lacklustre on paper. 

So, if there's anyone who can power them to victory in the Royal-battle, he is Sanju Samson, who has been fantastic as a batter and leader. Also, the responsibility will also lie on Riyan Parag, who has showcased his brilliance as a matured middle-order batter this season.
