Legendary Indian batter Virat Kohli showcased his incredible fielding prowess in the all-important IPL 2024 eliminator clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals. Kohli, who struck a valiant 33 in the first half, exhibited his fielding brilliance to catch Dhruv Jurel off guard. 

The incident occurred during the 14th over of RR's innings when RCB skipper Faf du Plessis brought seam-bowling all-rounder Cameron Green back into the attack. 

Bowling the first ball of his over, Green delivered a back of the length ball, which Riyan Parag pulled fiercely in front of the square. 

However, the in-form RR batter found Virat Kohli, who picked the ball up and threw it from the deep to execute a commendable run out. 

Kohli's throw was collected by Green at the non-striker's end, with the Aussie all-rounder dislodging the bails in quick time to leave Jurel stunned. 

Although the TV umpire was initially confused if Green had the ball in his hands while dislodging the bails, he was finally convinced and declared Jurel out after seeing the replay from multiple angles. 

Chasing a steep 173-run total, the Royals have lost the plot, placed at 115 for four in 14 overs as of writing.
