It won't be sugarcoating at all to say that RCB's Glenn Maxwell has had a gruesome time at the field this entire season. In a crucial do-or-die eliminator, Maxwell's big blunder costed RCB a massive breakthrough, the chance of breaking the budding partnership between Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Yashasvi Jaiswal by dropping an easy catch.

Yash Dayal bowled a short delivery, Kohler-Cadmore pulled it aerially in front of square in the leg side. Glenn Maxwell ran towards his left from the deep square leg, and positioned himself well, as he opened both his arms to hold the catch they spilled the ball out and the ball touched the grass.

Even in the first innings, Maxwell failed to fire his bat as he departed for a duck and now this. He has definitely brought himself under the knife and this could cost RCB the game too.
