Joining the club, Team India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav graced the Centre Court with his wife, Devisha Shetty, and grabbed the limelight with a witty reply about his perfect doubles partner. According to the Times of India, the skipper surprised everyone by naming a former captain, instantly grabbing the spotlight.
“Definitely MS Dhoni. He’s got speed, a lot of endurance, and is mentally very tough. Plus, whenever he’s not playing cricket these days, I’ve seen him playing a lot of tennis,” he said.

Suryakumar Yadav, known for lighting up the cricket field with his explosive knocks, made his debut visit to Wimbledon 2025 and it's noting short of magical. As the first is always special for everyone, there is nothing different for Suryakumar Yadav. Reflecting on the feelings, he called it a ‘surreal feeling in person’.
“I’ve always heard about the atmosphere around Centre Court. I watch tennis quite a bit on television, and I’m here to experience that surreal feeling in person,” he said.
As Team India is facing England in the second Test of the five-match Test series, Suryakumar Yadav is not a part of the side. The star batter is set to light up the upcoming T20I series with his explosive game once again.
