Since then, the rift between the LSG owner and the former LSG skipper has been a hot topic. After too many discussions about the topic, KL Rahul’s former teammate Amit Mishra has stirred the pot with a shocking comment about the LSG owner, instantly grabbing headlines.
“If you talk about the owner, I never felt he was too involved. Of course, he wanted to team to win. But we did lose matches and after that he never talked loudly or said anything wrong. I feel that the media has shown a little too much. I didn't feel that there was anything negative like that,” Mishra said.
“But if there is any owner, he says that losing is okay, but just go out there and show some fight. Fight and lose, I have no problem. This is what people told me. This is what happened. Even after losing badly in Kolkata and Hyderabad, the owner came into the dressing room and motivated the team. He never said anything wrong or in a very high tone,” he added.
Rahul’s Classic Knock Against LSG In IPL 2025
After LSG released their former captain, the Delhi Capitals didn’t lose the chance and named KL Rahul in the team. After that, there was no lookback for the wicketkeeper-batter as he made a remarkable bounce back in the shortest format. But the drama picked on high when he played an exceptional knock against his former side.
While chasing the target of 160, the Delhi Capitals lost an early wicket but KL Rahul and Abhishek Porel’s partnership paved the way for a dominating win. Coming at number 3, he played an unbeaten knock of 57 runs in just 42 deliveries with a strike rate of 135.71. With that dominance, they registered a 8-wicket win over LSG.
