The 26-year-old holds a great international experience as the bowling all-rounder made his international debut in 2016, aged 17. Karim hasn't got much opportunity in other formats but he has made a mark in T20Is.

Meanwhile, impressed by Janat, Gujarat Titans showed interest in the all-rounder, who registered himself at a base price of 75 lakhs in the 2025 mega-auction and bought him for his base price. GT didn't turn their eye towards the Afghan star for the first eight matches, but for the ongoing match, Karim has replaced Sherfane Rutherford.
