'Have Set Some High Standards' - Rahul Dravid Ahead Of India's Final League Game vs NED

The World Cup 2023 has seen some exhilarating cricket and after 44 league games, the final game of the group stage will be played between the hosts India and the Netherlands. The battlefield is a high-scoring ground, M. Chinnaswamy and the 'Men in Blue' will be hoping to make it perfect 9 in 9 against a spirited Dutch unit.

Talking ahead of the game, Rahul Dravid, the Indian head coach looked pretty pleased with India's performance in the competition. Dravid talked about variety of issues and mentioned that they want to tick the boxes that they have been ticking so far in the game against the Netherlands and added that they have set high standards and they want to continue it.

Dravid also stated that the Indian team under the leadership of Rohit Sharma has represented India quite well travelling across the country in this World Cup.

 "Happy Diwali to all of you. We want to tick the boxes that we have been doing so far. We have set some high standards and we want to continue it. We have travelled the country and this team has done really well to represent India. This is a fantastic venue and we would like to continue."

Dravid also talked highly about the Netherlands and reckoned that they have been pretty impressive. He added that he knows how difficult it can be for an associate nations to qualify for a big stage like World Cup and also applauded ICC for improving the standards of associate nations. 

 "Netherlands have been impressive. The effort that they put to qualify. I know how difficult it is for associate teams to qualify for this stage. The ICC has done a really good job in improving the standards of associate nations. Performances of Netherlands will improve the morale of other teams as well. It is great to see the way they have performed. We are looking forward to it."

India and the Netherlands will go head-to-head at M.Chinnaswamy on 12th of November and we can expect plenty of fireworks on the ground that is known for some humongous scores.
