Jasprit Bumrah is arguably the best fast bowler across formats currently, and he showed that again in the first Test against Bangladesh. The pacer bagged four wickets in the first innings to help India bowl out visitors for just 149 at Chepauk and looked class apart as always from the rest of the lot. 

The pacer started with the wicket of opener Shadman Islam in the very first over and then grabbed the big wicket of Mushfiqur Rahim to leave Bangladesh reeling at 40-5. He then cleaned up the tail which included a trademark yorker to Taskin Ahmed and it is his ability to bowl in different conditions and varied situations that make him a truly great bowler.

Now, Tamim Iqbal, the former Bangladesh skipper has also praised Jasprit Bumrah for his incredible skills. Iqbal also stated that it is not only about skills, but how one uses the skills and uses his brain while bowling. The former Bangladesh opener also added that one cannot be successful like Bumrah if one doesn't use his mind and it is the combination of skills and methodology that makes Bumrah the best in the world.

Jasprit Bumrah has incredible skills, but he has incredible brains as well. You may have a lot of skills, but if you don't have brains, you won't be as succcesful as Bumrah. This is what the world is watching".

Talking about the match, 17 wickets fell on Day 2, and India at the end of it are in a comfortable position with the lead of 308 in the second innings. They still have seven wickets in hand, and the pitch has enough help for the bowlers to make life difficult for Bangladesh batters in the final innings of this Test match.
