Indian cricket's stalwart, Virat Kohli, distinguishes himself not only through his extraordinary batting abilities but also through his enduring modesty and genuine regard for his fans, evident in every aspect of his public interactions.

During the unboxing event of the RCB at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on March 19, Virat Kohli's humility was on full display as he graciously urged his fans to address him by his name rather than any grandiose titles like 'King'.

As Virat Kohli stepped up to the mic while standing with Faf du Plessis and Smriti Mandhana, the entire Stadium echoed with chants of 'King Kohli,' yet the legendary batter, with a modest grin, admitted feeling ‘embarrassed’ about being addressed with such a moniker.

Notably, Virat Kohli has been bestowed the title of 'King' by fans for his unmatched batting prowess and unparalleled dominance across all cricket formats, reigning supreme in an era unlike any other. Even former cricketers can't help but use that title.

Earlier, Virat Kohli had openly shared his aspiration to experience the thrill of winning the first ever IPL title. Interestingly, the RCB Women's team recently achieved glory by securing the WPL trophy in the Women's Premier League 2024, triumphing over the Delhi Capitals Women's team.

The 35-year-old is gearing up to jump back into the cricket scene with IPL 2024 after a break of more than two months. He last played the T20I series against Afghanistan and skipped the entire five-match test series against England following the birth of his second child, Akaay.
