Proteas great Dale Steyn has been known for dropping witty remarks on cricketers on his social media handle and the South African pacer was in the headlines because of his previous comments during the India vs South Africa Test series.
Once again he made a witty and pseudo-appreciative comment on Virat Kohli, who scored 135 runs in the first ODI against South Africa at Ranchi.
Steyn wittily lauds Kohli's ton
Virat Kohli, who has been the centre of the Indian cricket team at Ranchi on November 30, pushed his limits to etch massive records for his team and also his individual record books.
As he celebrated his ton with a fiery punch and a mid-air roar, Steyn lauded the knock with a short and witty message.

Taking to his official social media handle on X, Dale Steyn dropped a six-word remark on Kohli's knock saying, “This guy can bat a little,” which led to a wave of instant replies on his thread, with netizens replying, “And fly a little,” “Little like Bavuma maybe,” “A little too much.”
Though Steyn has been sarcastic with his remark, it comes from his pure appreciation of the Indian legend who anchored the team’s batting against South Africa today.
Virat Kohli pillars India's total
After losing the toss, India came to bat first and rode on the back of Virat Kohli's impressive stand as Rohit Sharma also paired up for a total of 136 runs to hit one of the record powerplays for India in ODI cricket at Ranchi.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, who came back in the ODI setup after a long time, failed to impress as Yashasvi Jaiswal also went back for only 18 runs. KL Rahul, the skipper, played a valiant knock of 60 runs and helped the team pile up a total of 349 runs at the end of 50 overs.
As the match progresses at the time of writing, South Africa looks shaken with three wickets gone inside six overs and still a 300-plus run target left to achieve.
