Former Pakistani fast bowler Junaid Khan has sparked fixing possibilities after seeing Ishan Kishan’s bizarre dismissal during the Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians clash in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Kishan, who came out to bat at three, got beaten off the bowling of Deepak Chahar and started to walk off despite not edging a wide delivery outside leg stump.

Surprisingly, there were no appeals from Chahar or wicketkeeper Ryan Rickelton either and the on-field umpire Vinod Seshan signaled it wide but later reversed the decision to out after Kishan started walking. The Ultra-Edge later confirmed there was no contact as well, fueling SRH fan outrage.

Junaid Khan Hints at IPL Foul Play

Junaid Khan, who came across one viral video of the dismissal, reacted and posted a tweet, hinting a suspicious activity between Kishan and his former IPL team. He wrote"Daal mai kuch kaala hai,"  along with the video hinting at possible foul play in the controversial dismissal.



Ishan Kishan’s controversial dismissal proved costly as it triggered an early collapse in the Sunrisers’ middle order, with the team losing four wickets inside the powerplay. This early setback became a turning point and ultimately became the main reason behind SRH’s defeat.

Klaasen-Manohar’s Fightback Fails to Cover SRH’s Powerplay Collapse

Heinrich Klaasen and Abhinav Manohar attempted to steady the innings and managed to post a somewhat respectable 143-run total. However, it was far from challenging, as Mumbai Indians chased it down with ease, finishing the match with more than four overs to spare.

This dominant performance marked MI’s fifth win of the season, pushing them into the top three of the league standings. But the spotlight was stolen by the controversy surrounding Ishan Kishan’s dismissal which became widespread debate, overshadowing the team’s clinical day on the field.
