India's bowling coach, Paras Mhambrey, recently shared his insights on the remarkable comeback of fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the 2023 ODI World Cup. Despite a prolonged injury lay-off, the 29-year-old pacer has not only met but surpassed expectations, claiming 17 wickets in nine matches at an average of 15.64.

Mhambrey highlighted Bumrah's unique skill set, particularly praising his distinctive bowling action and the addition of new deliveries to his repertoire. Speaking about Bumrah's return.


Here's what Indian Bowling coach said on Bumrah:

"Boom is a very different action. Just look at the way he’s come back to the game [from his injury]. The set of skills, the unique action. He completely beats you. Now he’s got both, he gets the ball in and gets the ball out. He’s become lethal."

As India gears up for the semi-finals of World Cup 2023 against New Zealand at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on November 15 (Wednesday), Mhambrey commended the team's winning streak.
