India has qualified for the Asia Cup final by winning two of their first two Super Four games, including the recent encounter against Bangladesh on Wednesday. Abhishek Sharma was the star once again with the bat, scoring a blistering 75 off just 37 balls before an unfortunate run-out cut short his innings.
It was the second consecutive time in the tournament that the youngster was dismissed in the 70s, missing out on what could have been back-to-back centuries. Despite that, his impact at the top of the order has been big, and with two T20I centuries already to his name, the signs point to a bright future.
