In a bold prediction, former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter Aakash Chopra has suggested that Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) could potentially score 300 runs in their upcoming match against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on April 20.

Having recently set a new record for the highest total in the IPL for the second time this season with a remarkable 287-run performance against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), SRH seems determined to aim even higher. In-form SRH opener Travis Head said that his team will look to breach the 300-run mark in their next game.

Aakash Chopra backs SRH to do the unthinkable

Previously, SRH had set a new benchmark last month by scoring 277-3 against the Mumbai Indians, which they surpassed by amassing 287-3 against the Bengaluru-based franchise.

Previewing the night clash between DC and SRH, Aakash said SRH batters have the pedigree to go past their own record.

"They hit at home and also enter others' homes and hit them. If you don't believe me, you can ask Bengaluru. The sounds of them getting hit are still coming because 287 were scored. Travis Head even came and said in the middle - 'Don't you think 3 will be written in front of our score soon', which means abki baar 300 paar and this is that kind of ground as well, to be fair. It's also going to be an all-Indian attack in front of them,"  said Aakash Chopra on his YouTube channel.

This might sound funny and ridiculous, but with the kind of batting lineup SRH possesses and the form they’ve shown, no target seems to be out of their reach. Also, Delhi’s short boundaries will work in their favor.
