The Champions Trophy 2025 schedule is finally out and after months of build up and anticipation, the ICC released the entire fixtures list on Tuesday. The mega event will start on February 19 and the finale will take place on March 9.

The first match of the tournament will be between Pakistan and New Zealand and one of the favourites to clinch the title, India will kick-start their campaign on February 20 against Bangladesh.

Will India travel to Pakistan if they reach the finals?

They are in a group alongside Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh and will play their group stage matches in Dubai as a part of the hybrid model. However, the finale is in Lahore, but will the venue change if India reach the finals? Or will they travel to Pakistan?.

Well, as per the hybrid model rules, India will play all their matches in UAE, and even if they reach the semis and the finals, they will still stay in UAE and will not have to travel to Pakistan for the knockouts. In case the two teams meet in the semis as well, Pakistan will travel to play India in Dubai and not the other way around.

India in a tricky Champions Trophy group

It's Deja vu again as India are clubbed alongside Pakistan and New Zealand in the group stages. The last time these three teams were in the same group, India lost the contests and bowed out of the group stage in the T20 World Cup 2021.

However, this time around, Rohit Sharma's team are one of the favourites, but they still need to be wary of the teams since Dubai has generally been harsh on them.
