After a lot of internal tussles, the ICC have finally released the Champions Trophy 2025 schedule on Tuesday. The mega event will start on February 19 and the finale will take place on March 9.
The defending champions and the host of the event, Pakistan will kick-start Champions Trophy with a mouth-watering clash against New Zealand at the Karachi Stadium. Team India will begin their journey on February 20 as they aim to win the trophy for the third time in their history.
Their first match will take place against Bangladesh, followed by a riveting battle against the arch-rivals, Pakistan. The Rohit Sharma led side will conclude the group stage with a final match against another fearsome rivals, New Zealand.

The Rohit Sharma led side will play their first match against the Tigers on February 20 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Interestingly, due to the hybrid model, all their matches will be in Dubai.
The second match will be against Pakistan on February 23, and the final group stage contest will be up against New Zealand on March 2.
Champions Trophy to take place in hybrid model
After a lot of internal discussions and hustle, it was decided that the Champions Trophy will take place in a hybrid model.
India never wanted to go to Pakistan, but the hosts were adamant on playing the entire event in their country. However, after careful discussions, it was decided that India will play their matches in Dubai, and if the Men in Blue reach the finals, in that case as well the match will be played in Dubai.
