Pakistan's Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule: Which Teams Will Babar, Rizwan And Co Face?

In the recent news, the wait is finally over and ICC has officially unveiled the schedule for the much-anticipated Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament will kick off on February 19, 2025, with host nation Pakistan taking on New Zealand in the opening match at the National Stadium in Karachi. The prestigious event will run for three weeks and the final will be played on March 9, 2025.

One of the most eagerly awaited fixtures of the tournament will be the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan, that is scheduled for February 23, 2025, in Dubai.

The eight competing teams have been divided into two groups for the tournament:

  • Group A: Pakistan, India, New Zealand, Bangladesh
  • Group B: South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan, England

The tournament will feature 15 matches across various venues in Pakistan and Dubai, with Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi in Pakistan set to host the group-stage matches. Each of these venues will hold three group games. Lahore will also be the venue for the second semi-final.

The tournament will feature two semi-finals, with a reserve day set aside for both. The first semi-final and three of India's group-stage matches will be played in Dubai, while the second semi-final and the final will be held in Lahore, unless India qualifies for the final, in which case the match will shift to Dubai.
