Rajasthan Royals and the Gujarat Titans are playing against each other in the 23rd match of the IPL 2025. The match is being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India.

The Gujarat Titans batted first in the game and posted 217/6 at the end of their 20 overs. B Sai Sudharsan was the anchor of the innings for the team. In the chase, the Royals lost two early wickets and were struggling deeply, when Riyan Parag joined Sanju Samson in the middle.

Why Riyan Parag Has Not Got A Bat Sponsorship

Riyan Parag looked in a good touch with the bat as he played a couple of very attractive shots. However, there is no sticker on Parag's bat. The reasons is - he does not have a sponsor for his bat. 

The bat sponsorship depends on a few things - 

  • Global following of the player
  • How much brand value the player adds
  • For emerging players, the potential of the player to become a future super star

Although, Riyan Parag has shown great potential, his rise to emergence has been pretty recent. Even though, he made his debut in 2019, Riyan Parag struggled to get a break through season. It was IPL 2024, where Parag came with brilliant show with the bat and made his way to the team. He is yet to confirm his place on the Indian side, and so, we can expect as he establishes himself at the highest level of the game, he will get a sponsor for his bat.
